Lawn Fertilization and Weed Control Services
When you're looking into lawn care services for your lawn, two of the biggest services you likely hear about are fertilization and weed control. Fertilization provides your lawn with the nutrients it needs to thrive while weed control - you guessed it - controls the weeds on your lawn. While both of these lawn care services are great, doing one without the other can be a waste of time and money. For example, only utilizing a fertilizer can lead to out-of-control weeds because they are feeding on the nutrients you are replenishing into your turf. Likewise, weed control without fertilizer means that your grass could still be lacking essential nutrients. If you utilize both fertilization and weed control treatments together, you can more successfully achieve a healthier, more beautiful lawn.
Lawn Aeration and Overseeding Services
How To Get Top Benefits From Your Aeration And Overseeding Efforts. By combining both aeration and overseeding, you provide your lawn with a comprehensive care package. This combo reduces brown spots, acts as a natural weed deterrent, and introduces resistant grass varieties. The result? A lawn that not only looks stunning but also has a heightened defense against common issues. To get the most out of aeration, remember to water your lawn thoroughly one or two days before the process. This makes the soil softer and easier to penetrate. Moreover, don't forget to mark any underground sprinklers or other utilities to avoid damaging them during aeration.
Benefits:
Aeration and overseeding are both important lawn care practices that can improve the health and appearance of your lawn.
Aeration involves removing small cores of soil from your lawn to relieve soil compaction and allow water, air, and nutrients to penetrate the roots.
Overseeding involves planting new grass seed over existing turf to promote thicker, healthier grass.
Aeration and overseeding can be done together to maximize their benefits and improve the overall health and appearance of your lawn.
Regular aeration and overseeding can help prevent common lawn problems such as weed growth, patchy grass, and soil erosion.
Landscape Maintenance and Cleanup
We take care all of our maintenance customers weekly, every 2 weeks, or every 4 weeks. Anything less frequent than that would require a “will call” or one-time cleanup service.
Yard Maintenance Includes:
Trimming a section of plants and trees up to 8 feet in height.
We usually break the yard into 4-6 sections, in which case we focus on either half of the front yard regarding all plants and trees, and then maybe the next service focus on half of the backyard so that the plant material and trees are not done all in one service.
Blow the entire property for leaves and debris
Spot spray for weeds Mow and edge all turf areas
Blow off sidewalks
Check/adjust the sprinkler system
One-Time Yard Cleanups
These are very similar to landscape maintenance except we trim ALL of the plants and trees up to 8 feet in height in a single visit. We then blow the entire grounds for leaves & debris, mow and edge spot spray for weeds and clean off all the walkways.
